Malaga is the most commonly used airport. It is one hour’s drive away and has the greatest frequency of flights from all over the UK.

Granada airport is also one hour away but has fewer flights. Check out Ryanair www.ryanair.com for direct flights from London and Liverpool to Granada.
Almeria has flights to and from Manchester, Birmingham and Gatwick (mytravellite.com) and is two hours away.
Alicante has a large number of flights from most airports in the UK and is five hours by car.
Madrid is also five hours away.
Murcia airport (San Javier) is fast becoming popular, with flights from London, Birmingham, East Midlands, Leeds/Bradford, Newcastle, Southampton, Teeside and Manchester, and this is about four hours' drive.
